on this day in 1975, the first League Championship Series games were played under the lights. Cincinnati beat Pittsburgh 5-3 in 10 innings in game three to win that series in three straight. meanwhile Boston beat Oakland 5-3 to win game three and also won their series three straight. Cincinnati eventually beat Boston in seven games to win that years world series.
