Different use for braille

The Baltimore Orioles became The first professional team to use braille on their uniforms.  The team name and players names were written in braille.  This was to commemorate The 40th anniversary of The National Federation for The Blind moving to Baltimore. Neat eh.

A countdown of sorts and A marathon record holder

It's 99 days to Christmas.  How do I know? I have seen the 100 days to go to the World Juniors held in Vancouver and Victoria B.C.  Can not wait.   A World record fell in the mens marathon yesterday in Berlin, Germany.  Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya set the record of 2:01:39 beaking A record by 78 seconds.  The record has yet to be ratified though.

Winter making an appearance

Winter has already made an appearance in western Alberta.   5-10 cm expected to fall between Grande Prairie and Jasper and possibly as far south as Banff.  Edmonton is supposed to get some Wednesday or Thursday.  Did i miss fall somewhere?  Yiye.

Its after Labor day.

The Labor day games are done.   Kiddies are back to school.  Leavrs are already changing color.  Hockey is around The corner. Nfl starts this week and baseball is into The pennant drive.  Must be September.  15c here.   Sigh.  Loving fall.
