today in 1995, the Atlanta Braves win game six 1-0 to win their first world series in Atlanta and third in franchise history winning in 1914 as the Boston Braves and in 1957 in Milwaukee. David Justice scored the only run of the game hitting a home run in the 6th inning. Tom Glavine pitched 8 innings of one hit ball and Mark Wohlers closed out the game, getting Carlos Baerga to fly out to Marquis Grissom to end the game and the series.
