cfl musings

the only meaningful game in the final regular season weekend ended a while ago and it was the Ottawa REDBLACKS beating the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 44-28 to claim first in the east at 12-6. they will be hosting the east final game. Hamilton and Toronto finished with 10-8 records but Hamilton will finish second based on winning all three of their meeting against Toronto. Hamilton will host the east semi final game. meanwhile in the west, Edmonton played their last regular season last weekend and won it, giving them first in the west at 14-4. they will host the west final against Calgary or B.C. Calgary will be hosting the west semi final against B.C. Calgary and B.C. is playing now in B.C. (in an interesting twist and the west semi preview). even if Calgary wins and ends up at 14-4 with Edmonton, Edmonton wins tiebreak base on winning two of three games against Calgary. soooo, Toronto at Hamilton in the east semi on November 15th and B.C. at Calgary in the west semi also on the 15th.
