1912 (V Olympiad)

 The games of the VI Olympiad was held in Stockholm Sweden from May 5 to July 22 1912. 28 nations and 2406 athletes participated.  Women's diving, women's swimming, decathlon, pentathlon and art competition debuted here. Electronic timing in athletics introduced here. Egypt, Iceland, Portugal, Serbia and Japan made their debuts here. Last games to allow "private entries.". United States won most gold with 26 and hoat Sweden won most overall with 65. Canada won 3g, 2s, 3b for 8 total. Tomorrow, the 1920 games. Here is the poster for today.
