a wild finish in martinsville got ryan newman into victory after the first green-white-checkered attempt knocked out jeff gordon and jimmie johnson.  gordin finished 14th and johnson 12th.  a crazy finish.  tony stewart is 3rd in the points after a 7th place finish, while johnson is 10th.  next race is in two weeks in texas.
