 Sovereignty reigns supreme here as he won this year's Belmont Stakes. Pretty good time of 2:00.69. Junior Alvarado winning jockey and Bill Mott was winning trainer. Thanks another triple Crown done.

Quarter finals 3 and 4

 Heartbreak for Canada. Lost to Czech Republic 4-3. Rough first, better second and great third until a borderline penalty call on Canada (it was a clean hit) Czechs scored on power play and that was it. Heartbreaking, frustrating and disappointing finish to said game. Other quarter finals had Finland beat Slovakia 5-3. Semi finals has Sweden vs Finland and United States vs Czech Republic. Both games on Saturday.
