It's world Juniors time

 The annual post Christmas tradition has begun. Sweden beat Slovakia 5-2 and the United States just beat Germany 10-4 (ouch). Czech Republic is up 1-0 on Switzerland in the first. Canada vs Finland is at 6:30pm Prince Albert time. Soon I will be putting a pizza into the oven.

Quarter finals 3 and 4

 Heartbreak for Canada. Lost to Czech Republic 4-3. Rough first, better second and great third until a borderline penalty call on Canada (it was a clean hit) Czechs scored on power play and that was it. Heartbreaking, frustrating and disappointing finish to said game. Other quarter finals had Finland beat Slovakia 5-3. Semi finals has Sweden vs Finland and United States vs Czech Republic. Both games on Saturday.

Dodgers to world series

 It will be the New York Yankees vs the Los Angeles Dodgers For the world series as the Dodgers beat the Mets 10-5 in game 6 of the NLCS and the series 4-2. It will be the 12th meeting between the Yankees and Dodgers in the world series. The Yankees hold an 8-3 edge. (Yankees in 1941, 1947, 1949, 1952, 1953, 1956, 1977 and 1978. Dodgers in 1955, 1963 and 1981). It will be my first time watching these two. I started watching baseball in 1983
