2023 Pan American games preview

 These games are hosted by Santiago Chile 🇨🇱 from October 20 - November 5. 41 nations and 6909 athletes scheduled to compete. No new nations added. New sports include: break dancing,  skate boarding, and sport climbing. Also, kyorgi added in taekwando, synchro trampoline, 1000m roller skating speed event and mixed 8s rowing. Canada sending 473 athletes to the games (208 men, 265 women). Will not have athletes in basketball, basque pelota and soccer. Christine Girard is chef de mission. No flag bearer announced as of yet.
