2019 Pan American games

 These games were held in Lima, Peru 🇵🇪 from July 26 to August 11.  41 nations participated in these games. Slogan was Let's All Play. Bodybuilding and surfing added, basque pelota reinstated and softball dropped. Several disciplines added, one was dropped and 19 events added. No new nations added. USA led in golds and overall medals with 122g, 87s, 84b for 293 total. Brazil was 2nd in both gold and overall with 54g, 45s 70b for 169 total. Mexico was 3rd in golds and 4th overall with 37g, 39s, 62b for 138 total. Canada (with 477 athletes) had 35g, 65s, 52b for 152 total. Host Peru had 11g, 7s, 23b for 41 total.
