February 9, 1966 league announces that Los Angeles, St Louis, Minnesota, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and San Francisco will be the cities added. There was a 26 point gap between 4th (Detroit) and 5th (Boston). #1 draft pick is Barry Gibbs by Boston. He plays 796 games between Boston, Minnesota, Atlanta, St Louis and Los Angeles. Playoffs had: SF; Montreal 4 Toronto 0 and Detroit 4 Chicago 2. Stanley Cup finals had Montreal 4 Detroit 2.
