Canada races to bronze + first medal of Games

 Start with the first medalists. Therese Johaug of Norway wins first gold of the games in 15k skiathlon. Natalya Nepryayeva of Russia with silver and Teresa Stadlober with bronze. 

Speaking of bronze, Canada had picked up its first medal of the games, a bronze in the women's 3000m speed skating. Isabelle Weidmann has it with a time of 3:58.64.   Netherlands has the gold in this.
