Rangers claim a.l. west. post season matchups set

the Texas Rangers are A.L. West champs after beating the L.A. Angels 9-2 and at the same time eliminating the Angels and putting the Houston Astros. the Astros lost to the Arizona Diamondback, thus sending them to Yankee Stadium to play the Yankees in the wild card game on the 6th. the winner will face the Kansas City Royals in one ALDS series, while the Rangers will face the Toronto Blue Jays, starting in Toronto. both those series start on the 8th. meanwhile in the National League, the matchups are already set. the Pittsburgh Pirates will face the Chicago Cubs in the National League wild card on the 7th in Pittsburgh. the winner will go to St.Louis for one NLDS series matchup starting on the 9th. the Mets and Dodgers also start on the 9th with the series starting in Los Angeles. the post season is here.
