giants win again one win away.

ryan vogelsong pitched a very good game and the giants defence turned in some key double plays as san francisco wins 2-0 again.  first time since the 1966 baltimore orioles to put in back to back shut outs in a world series (the orioles had three in a row).  they are also the first national league team since the 1919 cincinnati reds to put in back to back shut outs. (1919 was the infamous black sox scandal where 8 chicago white sox players conspired to throw - or deliberatly lose - the world series).  sergio romo got the save and anibal sanchez of the tigers got the loss.  game four is tomorrow night in detroit.
