morning of day one, first gold goes to.......
.... yi siling of china. she won ir in the 10m air rifle event. i think thats their first ever in that event. meanwhile michael phelps barely made it to the 400m final. he got in just over 4m13s. just watched russia beat china in womens beach volleyball. more medals to be handed out later. hopefully canada wins one or two.
