dog days of summer - literally
man its been on the warm side the past week. it's supposed to cool off until tuesday when it gets hot again. early yesterday morning had a wild thunderstorm that flooded part of the whitemud freeway, some streets in mill woods and unfortunately flooded out a few apartments there as well. feel bad for them. even a parking lot at one building got flooded. today some smoke from a couple of forest fires in northern alberta came in. it was worse close to lunchtime. it's not so bad now, but there still is smoke around. in two weeks is the beginning of the summer olympics in london. the opening ceremonies are on july 27th - same day as my sister's birthday.
