opening night on homefront ignoring playoffs
came back from the edmonton capitals home opener. the caps beat the victoria seals (their first season) 10-6 in front of over 6,100 people at telus field. a good night even though it was chilly. while i was there, the pittsburgh penguins beat the carolina hurricanes 7-4 to go up two games to none. in the nba, the nuggets evened their series at one with a 106-103 win over the lakers. both those series see action again on saturday.
