the phillies have just won the world series with a 4-3 win over the rays. brad lidge got the final out by strike out. the phillies second ever world series and first since 1980. steve carlton got the win and tug mcgraw got the save in 1980. cole hamels won world series mvp and won a 2010 chevy camero.
