there's nothing finer than starting in carolina

the hurricanes are in the stanley cup finals with a 4-2 win over the buffalo sabres and will face the edmonton oilers starting monday night in raleigh, n.c. carolina and edmonton will mark the first time two world hockey association will play in the stanley cup. the hurricanes were known as the hartford whalers in the w.h.a and when they joined the nhl. the whalers moved to carolina in 1997.

Hey, thanks, as always, for keeping me up to date on the sports at home. This Oilers thing is pretty cool.

Guess what? I just started a new job last week. I'm the only Canadian in the company, but we share office space with another company and they've got three Edmontonians working there. So there's four of us, and hence four hockey fans, working in the same building. How cool is that?!
