great race in daytona tonite. jeff gordon wins the pepsi 400. end of the race got pretty good too. an olympic moment. 1896 - the summer olympics that started it all using some of the events that date back to ancient greece. hmmm if i could go back to 1896 to witness this. hmmm
Quarter finals 3 and 4
Heartbreak for Canada. Lost to Czech Republic 4-3. Rough first, better second and great third until a borderline penalty call on Canada (it was a clean hit) Czechs scored on power play and that was it. Heartbreaking, frustrating and disappointing finish to said game. Other quarter finals had Finland beat Slovakia 5-3. Semi finals has Sweden vs Finland and United States vs Czech Republic. Both games on Saturday.
