The Northern Star award winner is...

 ...Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The NBA player helped Canada's basketball team qualify for the upcoming Olympics. The Northern Star award is for Canada's athlete of the tear. Shai is the second basketball player to win the award. The first was Steve Nash.
