Indians a win away, Cubs strike first

The Cleveland Indians are one win away from the ALCS with a come from behind win over the Yankees. The Yankees were up 8-3,but the Indians came back to win 9-8 in 13 innings. Josh Tomlin with the win and Dellin  Betances with the loss.  Yan Gomez knocked in the winner.  Game 3 is Sunday.

Meanwhile the Chicago Cubs open their world series defense with a 3-0 win in Washington. Kyle Hendricks with the win, Stephen Strasbourg with the loss and Wade Davis with the save. Game 2 is tomorrow.
