in 1992 at the winter games in Albertville Toni Nieminen of Finland became (at the time) the youngest champion at 16 years and 259 days old when he won gold in the ski jumping large hill team event, then followed it up two days later in the individual event. he became the youngest by ONE DAY over bobsledder Billy Fiske. the individual gold still stands as a record (16 yrs 261 days) for males
