quarter final + relegation Saturday

the U.S. just beat the Czech Republic 7-0 to move on the the semi finals to face Russia. Russia earlier had a battle against Denmark. the game went into overtime before Russia won 4-3. Finland and Canada also had a good one. Finland meat Canada 6-5, capitalizing on too many careless Canadian penalties. Finland will play Sweden in the other semi final. Sweden blew out Slovakia 6-0 to advance. in relegation best of three, Swizterland beat Belarus 5-1 in the first game. Czech republic will finish 5th, Canada 6th, Slovakia 7th and Denmark 8th. semi finals are Monday and relegation game two is tomorrow.
