this was one helluva game. a nerve wrecking game. it was canada up 2-1 after the first. they go up five to one midway through the second, then russia scored three in four minutes. canada managed to hang on to win 5-4 to win their first gold since 2009 and avenged four straight losses to russia in the medal rounds. canada's 16th gold. russia takes silver. next tournament in finland.
