the miami heat have repeated as nba champions with a 95-88 win in game seven and won the series four games to three.  quite a close series for most of it, despite two games being blowout wins - one for san antonio and one for miami.   that is it for another basketball season - at least until the fall.

 Wow did Montréal ever dethrone Toronto. The Alouettes knocked off the defending Grey Cup champions Argonauts 38-17. That is big. The second 16-2 team to fail to get to the Grey Cup. Also Montréal first Grey Cup trip since 2010 when they beat Saskatchewan. Next up is B.C. vs Winnipeg.
