97th running of the indianapolis 500

tony kanaa has won his first career indy 500 in what was a record setting race.  he won it under caution after dario franchittl crashed with two to go.  there was 68 lead changes and i think 14 different drivers led the race.  this was also the fastest race, with the averages speed of 187.433 mph.  the crowd was cheering for him when he won it.  tony got the borg warner wreath, the borg warner trophy and the bottle of milk to drink.  he will have his face on the main trophy and will have a smaller replica to keep.   congrats to tony, well deserved.  carlos munoz was second.  this was munoz first ever race.
