euro 2012 group D wrap up
the round robin is now done. england beat ukraine 1-0 to take group D while eliminating ukranie. even though france lost to sweden 2-0, they still finish second and will join england in the quarters. england finished with 7 pts, france with 4 and ukraine and sweden finished third and 4th with 3 pts each. england will now play italy in the quarters on sunday while france plays spain on saturday. the quarter finals start thursday with the czech rep vs portugal and germany plays greece on friday. the winners go to the semis while the losers go home.
