in a 22-9 win over the oakland a's, the new york yankees hit a record 3 grand slam home runs in a game. robinson cano in the 5th, russel martin in the 6th and curtis granderson in the 8th did the trick. once down 2-7, the yankees got 4 runs in the 5th, 4 runs in the 6th, 6 runs in the 7th and 6 runs in the 8th. quite a game.
