this ended up a pretty damn good game. sweden ended up beating canada 6-5 in a shootout and won group b and a bye into the semis. canada will play in a quarter final game sunday vs the trird place team in group A, pending the result of the u.s vs switzerland game. result later.
update: u.s. 2 swtizerland 1. u.s. wins group A and got a bye into the semis. canada will play switzerland in one quarter final matchup with the winner to play the u.s. in one semi. finland and russia play in the other quarter final matchup with the winner playing sweden in the other. quarter finals are sunday.
