the vancouver olympics are on
the opening ceremonies are on and the parade of athletes are currently happening. sadly overshadowed by the tragid death of a georgian (the country not the state) athlete near the end of his luge training run. the georgian team bravely marched in with black armbands to commemorate the athlete. more of the show will continue after the parade of nations and the lighting of the cauldron. who will light it and how will it stay burning indoors? yes b.c. place is the home of the ceremonies. 17 days of competition and i'm ready to go.
