the new jersety devils took out the tampa bay lightning 3-2 to win the series 4 games to 2. the eastern conference semi-final matchup are: #1 buffalo sabers vs #6 n.y. rangers and #2 new jersey vs #4 ottawa senators. meanwhile the red wings can eliminate the flames with a win tonight (detroit won yesterday to go up 3-2 in the series). update of that game later.
