canucks knock out champs, boy was it close alex burrows of the canucks knocked out the chicago blackhawks in overtime and will face nashville in the second round after winning 2-1 in o.t. and the series 4-3. they finnaly beat the hawks in the playoffs and almost choked after going up three games to none. congrats to them. as i said they will play nashville in the second round and the other west semi match up is san jose vs detroit.

rangers get capital punishment with as 3-1 win, the washington capitals beat the new york rangers in game 5 and win the series 4 games to one. washington i think owned the series. who they will face will be decided later on.

detroit put coyotes to sleep with a 6-3 win, the detroit red wings complete a four game sweep of the phoenix coyotes. couple of games were pretty close, but detroit came out on top. tonight MAY have been the final game in phoenix, pending the ownership situation. who knose, come october they could still be in phooenix or in winnipeg. we will see. anyways congrats to detroit.

uconn huskies ncaa champions the university of conneticut huskies are 2011 ncaa champions with a 53-41 win over the butler bulldogs. i never saw the game. looked like it was a good game. i was hoping butler would win though. anyways congrats to uconn

then there was one it will be uconn vs butler for the ncaa championship game on monday night. uconn hung on to beat kentycky 56-55 and butler beat VCU 70-62. it will be a good one for sure.

baseball season day 2 - no fooling first full night of baseball began with 6 day games. got hte seattle at oakland game on now with seattle leading 6-2 after 8 innings. i watched some of the toronto vs minnesota game with the jays winning 13-3. a great day today. no fooling either.
