a surprise and a favorite superbowl bound can you believe this? the arizona cardinal are making their first ever trip to the super bowl with a 32-25 win over the philadelphia eagles in the nfc. meanwhile in the afc the pittsburgh steelers are making their 7th appearance in the super bowl with a 23-14 win over the baltimore ravens. super bowl 43 is in two weeks

it feels like spring its definitely feeling like spring out. a good day to get out of the house considering i am off today. i dont know what to do yet. i'll figure something out after my laundry is done.

divisional sunday, onward to conference championships the pittsburghs steelers beat the san diego chargers 35-24 and will face the baltimore ravens next sunday in pittsburgh. meanwhile the philadelphia eagles knocked out the defending champs n.y.giants 23-11 and will go to arizona next sunday to face the cardinals.

divisional saturday the arizona cardinals are making their first ever trip to the nfc championship game by beating the carolina panthers 33-13. earlier today the baltimore ravens beat the tennessee titans in a close one, 13-10. so divisional saturdat was "for the birds." tomorrow its the philadelphia eagles @ the n.y. giants and the sandiego chargers @ the pittsburgh steelers.

a saturday off i actually have a saturday off. i had last saturday off as well. didn't do too much. got my laundry done. i may hit the mall to look around. and possibly get new shoes.

canda wins gold x5 canada has just won its 5th straight gold medal with a 5-1 win over sweden in the gold medal game in ottawa. it was a good game all around. great job by the guys. earlier russia beat slovakia 5-2 to win bronze. so thats it for another year. next tournament is in saskatoon next year.

world jr semi final saturday canada was 5.4 seconds from losing, jordan eberle ties the game at 5 and then canada wins it in the shootout. the go for gold on monday against sweden, who earlier beat slovakia to get to teh gold medal game. slovakia plays russia for bronze.

world jr semi final saturday coming up tomorrow canada will play russia in one semi final (5:30pm on tsn) while slovakia plays sweden in the other. the winners will go for gold monday night at 5:30 on tsn while the losers play for bronze.
