George Foreman wins heavyweight boxing gold. Games held at 2240m (7350 feet) above sea level. East and West Germany competed as separate nations. First games televised in color. Canada competes first time under new flag. United States won most gold (45) and overall (101). Mexico won 3g, 3s, 3b for 9 total. Canada won 1g, 3s, 1b for 5 total.
