Meet the men's curling team

 Brad Jacobs, Marc Kennedy, Brett Gallant, Ben Hebert and alternate Mike Capone are heading to the winter Olympics in Italy after finishing off a sweep in the best of three finals over Matt Dunstone and his team. Gallant will also be competing in the mixed doubles tournament. Congratulations and good luck.

Quarter finals 3 and 4

 Heartbreak for Canada. Lost to Czech Republic 4-3. Rough first, better second and great third until a borderline penalty call on Canada (it was a clean hit) Czechs scored on power play and that was it. Heartbreaking, frustrating and disappointing finish to said game. Other quarter finals had Finland beat Slovakia 5-3. Semi finals has Sweden vs Finland and United States vs Czech Republic. Both games on Saturday.
