June 23 1975 Marcel Dionne signs with Los Angeles Kings. 3. November 7 1975 Phil Esposito and Carol Vadnais traded to New York Rangers for Brad Park, Joe Zanussi and Jean Ratelle. 4. October 1975 Buffalo opens with 8 straight wins. 5. Soviet teams play select NHL teams. Two memorable games include Montreal vs Red Army on new year's eve (3-3 tie) and Philadelphia vs Red Army (Ed Van Impe hit on Valeri Kharlamov. Bob Cole - they're going home). 6. He played 845 games, scored 43 goals, 220 assists and 263 points. Won Stanley Cup in 1986 with Montreal and involved in the Rod Langway trade with Washington in 1982. So that's this season.
