the upsets continue

this one just ended not that long ago.  the oregon ducks, the 12 seed in the midwest,  upset #4 saint louis 74-57.  oregon out played saint louis big.  right now #9 wichita st is leading #1 gonzaga in the west bracket 26-18 in the first half.  could this be an upset?  find out later.

update:  wichita st has knocked out gonzaga 76-70.  first 1 seed to get knocked out this year

Dominica, St Lucia, Cape Verde, and Albania won first medal. Dominica, St Lucia, Botswana and Guatemala won first golds. Refugee Olympic Athletes team also won a medal. 3. 85 nations won a medal. 4. 32 Olympic records and 10 world records fell. 5.  Siffan Hassan won a bronze in 5000 and 10000 meter and a gold in marathon. That's over 57km in running. Wow. 6.  One podium sweep and it was France in men's BMX. Toris Daudet (gold), Sylvain Andre (silver) and Romain Mahieu (bronze) was on the podium. 7. United States and China tied for most gold (40). United States won most overall (40g, 44s, 42b) with 126. France had 16g, 26s, 22b for 64 total. Canada won 9g, 7s, 11b for 27 total. Coming up had the Paralympics.
