world series game two

the Cubs have evened the series at one with a 5-1 win. Kyle Schwarber got his first two hits of the season (went 0 for 4 in the season opener before a knee injury put him out until now). they were both rbi base hits. Cubs score three in the 5th as they sent 9 batters to the plate. Cubs stranded 13 runners while Cleveland stranded 8. First Cubs world series win since game 6 of the 1945 world series on October 8th, winning 8-7 in 12 innings that day. Jake Arrieta got the win, Trevor Bauer with the loss. game took 4h 4m to complete. game three is Friday in Chicago.

United States and China tied for most gold (40). United States won most overall (40g, 44s, 42b) with 126. France had 16g, 26s, 22b for 64 total. Canada won 9g, 7s, 11b for 27 total. Coming up had the Paralympics.
