Denver takes afc west, Carolina tops nfc

with a 27-20 win over San Diego, the Denver Broncos not only won the AFC West - they also claimed the top seed in the AFC. that was helped with New England losing to Miami. New England got the second seed. Cincinnati has the third seed and will play the sixth seed Pittsburgh. Houston has the 4th seed and will take on Kansas City. meanwhile in the NFC, Carolina blew out Tampa Bay to claim the top seed. even though they lost, Arizona still took the second seed. Washington will have the 4th seed. Green Bay plays Minnesota for the NFC North and will decide who will claim the 3rd, 5th and 6th seed. the result will also decide who Seattle plays. playoffs begin next weekend
