And yet four more

 2 golds,  a silver and a bronze.  The golds: Nicholas Bennett in the pool in the 200m freestyle S14 and Marc Deschenes in judo +100kg class. The silver: Hollie Naughton in squash (first ever medal in squash). The bronze: Joshua Liendo in the pool in the 50m freestyle.  That is now 14g, 18s, 20b for 52 total.  Yessss.

 These games were in Paris from July 26 to August 11. 206 nations and 10714 athletes participated. Highlights include:  1. Breakdance debuted here. 2. Final games under Thomas Bach. Dominica, St Lucia, Cape Verde, and Albania won first medal. Dominica, St Lucia, Botswana and Guatemala won first golds. Refugee Olympic Athletes team also won a medal. 3. 85 nations won a medal. 4. 32 Olympic records and 10 world records fell. 5.  Siffan Hassan won a bronze in 5000 and 10000 meter and a gold in marathon. That's over 57km in running. Wow. 6.  One podium sweep and it was France in men's BMX. Toris Daudet (gold), Sylvain Andre (silver) and Romain Mahieu (bronze) was on the podium. 7. United States and China tied for most gold (40). United States won most overall (40g, 44s, 42b) with 126. France had 16g, 26s, 22b for 64 total. Canada won 9g, 7s, 11b for 27 total. Coming up had the Paralympics.
