russia just defeated the u.s. 5-1. it will be canada vs russia for gold thursday night while the u.s. will play finland for bronze. if the end of the third is any factor, the gold medal game may get chippy. the checks from both teams looked borderline from dirty. im guessing it will be a physical game on thursday. so there you have it. loads of excitement tonight.
