the new England patriots blew out the Indianapolis colts 45-7 and will be heading to super bowl 49 in Arizona to face the seattle seahawks. the patriots were up 17-7 at halftime, but blew it open in the second. super bowl 49 (XLIX) id February 1 in phoenix, Arizona.

this ended up one heck of a finish. green bay was leading most of the game until the last two minutes of the 4th quarter. seattle then scores two touchdowns in a row, the second after recovering an onside kick to go up 22-19. green bay ties it with a field goal to send it into overtime. the seahawks score a touchdown to win it in overtime 28-22 and will be into the super bowl. whey await the winner of the afc championship game between Indianapolis and new England.

the indanapolis colts defence shut down peyton mannings offence as the colts beat the denver broncos 24-13 in denver. the colts are the first road team to win in this years playoffs. they will be going to new england to face the patriots for the AFC championship game next sunday.

the green bay packers trailed most of the game, scored two touchdowns in the 4th and beat the dallas cowboys 26-21 at lambeau field and will now go to seattle to face the seahawks in the NFC championship game. that should be a good game. up next, it is the indianapolis colts and the denver broncos with the winner going to new england to face the patriots.

the seattle seahawks knocked out the carolina panthers 31-17 to go to their second straight NFC championship game. two touchdowns in the fourth put the game away. the seahawks will host either dallas or green bay for the nfc title next sunday. dallas/green bay is tomorrow.

the new england patriots are into the AFC championship game after beating the baltimore ravens 35-31. the pats trailed by 14 points TWICE, (14-0 and 28-14) and still came back. the patriots will be hosting either indianapolis or denver. they play tomorrow.

this was one helluva game. a nerve wrecking game. it was canada up 2-1 after the first. they go up five to one midway through the second, then russia scored three in four minutes. canada managed to hang on to win 5-4 to win their first gold since 2009 and avenged four straight losses to russia in the medal rounds. canada's 16th gold. russia takes silver. next tournament in finland. WOOOOOOOOOOO CANADA

talk about huge. slovakia earned their secend ever bronze after a 4-2 win. it is also their second ever world junior medal. i will be betting slovakia is still partying congrats to slovakia.

it was a tight one through half the game, but canada opened it up and beat slovakia 5-1. nick petan scored a hat trick in the game. denis godla of slovakia stood on his head. why he wasn't chosen player of the game for slovakia, i dont know. slovakia will play sweden for bronze at 2pm and canada will play russia for gold at 6pm. rivalry renewed.

the dallas cowboys, after being down 14-0 and 17-7, came back to win 24-20. they will be going to green bay to face the packers next sunday, while carolina will be going to seattle to face the seahawks next saturday. now the real fun begins.

russia, from the second period to the end controlled sweden to the tune of a 4-1 victory and a trip to tomorrow nights gold medal game. sweden will be playing for bronze tomorrow afternoon. canada vs slovakia at 6pm edmonton time

after winning the first of a best of three yesterday, switzlerland wins the second 5-2 and will avoid relegation and will finish ninth in this tournament. germany in the meantime will go to division one for next years tournament. belarus will take germany's place.

first wild card game in the books and its the carolina panthers moving on into the divisional final with a 27-16 win over the arizona cardinals in carolina. cam newton's first playoff win. coming up has the baltimore ravens in pittsburgh to face the steelers.

this was a no doubter. canada blows out denmark 8-0 and will face slovakia on sunday night in toronto in the second semi final. denmark had a wonderful tournament though. took russia and czech republic to overtime before losing and beating switzerland in a shootout to get to the quarters. i would say they did their country proud. we will see them in finland at next years tournament.

this one was tight the whole game. in the end slovakia is in the semis with a 3-0 win over the czech republic. i think the second goal clinched it. slovakia will face either denmark or canada. that game is at 6pm edmonton time.

the first quarter final russia beat the u.s. 3-2 that had lots of minor penaties in the game. the second game had sweden beat finland 6-3. sweden blew it open with three goals in the third to seal it. russia will face sweden in one semi final game on sunday.
